Today, a meeting the Contact group on Ukraine will be held in Minsk. Among the main issues is the exchange of prisoners. This was stated by First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the representative of Ukraine in the humanitarian subgroup of the Tripartite Contact Group Irina Gerashchenko. A few days ago, Irina Gerashchenko met with the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko to discuss the issues of the release of prisoners in the Donbass and the return of the Ukrainians convicted in Russia. The previous meeting ended with an agreement on a new Easter truce.
