This was uttered by Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei at the meeting of the Council of Permanent Representatives of the Commonwealth.
Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus:
"We basically fulfilled the tasks set for this year. In our opinion, the year was very fruitful and rich for the CIS, a lot of events have been held both in the territory of the Republic of Belarus and in the territory of other countries. We believe that these activities were very efficient."
The Permanent Representative of Russia Andrei Shvedov thanked Belarus for the significant support. Next year the chairmanship in the Commonwealth moves to Tajikistan.
