Economic security, protection of information space, development of allied programs and preservation of common historical memory were the main issues at the 60th session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Belarus-Russia Union today. The meeting was held in the format of a video conference. Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko noted that full-scale hybrid warfare is unleashed against the states, and today's intensive dialogue on deepening the strategic partnership and the development of the Union State construction will be a worthy response to both external and internal opponents of the Union State.
Vladimir Andreichenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus:
I believe, the peculiarity of this session of the parliamentary assembly is that the attempts of external pressure, destabilisation of the socio-economic situation in the Republic of Belarus and in the Russian Federation have brought our peoples and our countries closer. We have agreed to have a strategic approach to the formation of the allied programmes, to make high-tech products at the expense of these allied programmes so that they were in demand on the world markets and had a high added value.
