Economy, trade and finance discussed today in Budapest

The summit 16 + 1 has started in Budapest. One of the main tasks of the forum is to discuss the prospects for the development of customs cooperation of Central and Eastern Europe with China. Belarus participates in the meeting of the heads of government as an observer.

Our delegation is headed by the Prime Minister. As Andrei Kobyakov notes, that European countries need to pay attention to the renewal of the dialogue. Belarus stands for the organization of the new Helsinki process. An important direction is the development of cooperation within the framework of the Central European initiative.

The Prime Minister of Belarus met with his Latvian colleague at the forum. Our country considers Latvia a perspective investor. Today, the logistics capabilities of each side are in demand. Latvia has access to the sea. We are building a dry port with China.
