The deadline for submitting documents for initiative group registration runs out on Friday, 17th July. According to the electoral law, registration will take place within 5 days from the date of applying.
A candidate for presidency can only be nominated by collecting voter signatures. For that purpose, they must form an initiative group consisting of at least 100 people and then collect at least 100,000 signatures in their support.
