President of Belarus honors memory of Soviet soldiers in Austria

The official two-day visit of the President of Belarus to Austria has begun. 

The formal protocol and main meetings are scheduled for tomorrow. The dialogue between the Head of the State and the Federal President of Austria, Chairman of the National Council will take place. The upcoming talks in Vienna will open a new page not only of bilateral relations but also of the Belarusian-European dialogue as a whole. The visit began with Alexander Lukashenko honoring the memory of the Soviet soldiers, who died during the liberation of Austria from fascism. The ceremony was attended by members of the official delegation of our country, public representatives, as well as ambassadors of the CIS countries in Austria.

Alexander Lukashenko is expected to join the Austrian-Belarusian business forum, which will be attended by business communities of both countries. A package of bilateral documents and business agreements for a total amount of 250 million euros is planned to be signed during the official visit.
