The Contact Group on Ukraine has agreed on a harvesting truce at a meeting in Minsk. The ceasefire regime will be introduced at midnight on June 24 to last till late August, as announced by OSCE Special Representative in the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik.
The OSCE Special Representative also mentioned a serious incident when the staff of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission was attacked and shelled the day before. According to Martin Sajdik, this is unacceptable.
The Contact Group’s next meeting will be held in Minsk on July 5.
