Optimization of the department and priorities of Belarus in the international arena were discussed in the Palace of Independence. The President received the report of the Minister of Foreign Affairs. The General Consulates in Odessa, Gdansk and Milan will be closed. On the other hand, the opening of new embassies is in Africa and in Europe being considered . Alexander Lukashenko was interested in the results of foreign economic activity. Vladimir Makei reported a positive trend, according to the results of 2017, the sales abroad increased. Efforts of diplomats are aimed at diversification of Belarusian exports.
