Nuclear safety, export, the work of holdings and individual entrepreneurs, as well as the training of doctors.
A wide range of issues was discussed yesterday at the Palace of Independence. Drafts of the most important documents were submitted to the level of the President. Whatever topics are on the agenda, the approaches are unchanged. They are based on expediency, economic efficiency, and social justice.
Among the government's proposals, for example, is the creation of a national operator for radioactive waste management. As for the work on the external circuit, we intend to introduce the positions of official representatives of the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Agriculture in our embassy in China. We are also talking about optimizing the staff of foreign missions. But the Council of Ministers proposes to increase the number of the tax department.
Another draft decree concerns the amendment of the legislation on holdings. They will improve their work and increase their competitiveness in foreign markets. The government also had proposals on regulating the work of individual entrepreneurs and self-employed. Alexander Lukashenko has repeatedly spoken about the need to put things in order in this area.
The President also reminded us that tax evasion and wages in envelopes are unacceptable. The proposed innovations were presented to the Head of State in the format of the concept of changes in approaches to taxation and doing business. This is not about raising taxes, but rather about increasing participation in paying them. At the same time, the state does not refuse the undertaken obligations in simplifying the conduct of business. In general, all the proposed innovations found the support of the President, but they have to be finalized, taking into account the discussion.
