A regular meeting of the Council of the CIS Foreign Ministers will take place in Minsk today. The main issue for discussion is the interaction of the member states in matters of security.
Dmitry Mironchik, the Head of the Information and Digital Diplomacy Department, Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry: "The ministers plan to give priority to issues of security, fighting crime, countering international terrorism, and coordinating the activities of law enforcement agencies of the CIS member states."
There are 12 items on the agenda. They concern cooperation in politics, economy, culture and education, as well as interaction between foreign and political departments of the Commonwealth of Independent States countries.
