SCO summit starts in Bishkek today

Global issues of our time will be discussed at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The Big Eurasian G8, as well as observer and dialogue partners, will gather in Bishkek. Belarus will present its initiatives. To this end, our President will go to Kyrgyzstan on a two-day working visit.

Since the beginning of its history, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization has pursued clear objectives: strengthening stability and security. 

One of the most important factors in maintaining and strengthening security in the Organization is the earliest possible resolution of the situation in Afghanistan.
