Belarus carries out its CIS chairmanship obligations with dignity. This was stated by the executive secretary of the association, Sergey Lebedev. Our country has always supported and supports all the integration efforts of the Commonwealth countries despite the coronavirus, quarantine restrictions and sanctions pressure. Future joint steps were discussed today in Minsk by the permanent representatives of the CIS. As they noted, in the current difficult conditions, it is important to stick together.
In October, Minsk will host the Council of Foreign Ministers and the Council of the Heads of State of the CIS. A face-to-face meeting is planned. The occasion for the meeting will be solemn: the 30th anniversary of the formation of the Commonwealth.
