Today, the three general committees of the Parliamentary Assembly continue the debate. A number of issues and proposals have already been discussed, including the issues of combating terrorism, the migrant crisis and reforms of the Parliamentary Assembly. Several meetings are being held simultaneously. Delegations are also bringing to the discussion local issues that may have global consequences. In addition, gender issues are on the agenda today, too.
The final document will be adopted on the final day of the forum – on 9 July. The Minsk Declaration will contain recommendations for national governments, parliaments and the international community on how to respond to pressing threats and challenges.
