President Alexander Lukashenko appoints new government

Roman Golovchenko, who was the Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee, became a Prime Minister. Several members of the Council of Ministers have also been changed. The Head of the State outlined the main tasks and priorities of the country during the meeting. Despite changes in the composition of the government, it is necessary to maintain its well-coordinated work.

Alexander Lukashenko oriented the new composition of the government to work intensively towards overcoming contemporary difficulties. The maximum concentration and mobilization of the government are required to prevent a decline in the economy and the standard of living. 

The new government is headed by Roman Golovchenko. Nikolai Snopkov took the post of his First Deputy. The President also appointed Alexander Subbotin as Deputy Prime Minister. Dmitry Krutoy will work as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration. Ivan Tertel heads the State Control Committee. Ruslan Parkhamovich will lead the Ministry of Architecture and Construction. Petr Parkhomchik became the Minister of Industry, and Igor Lutsky is the Minister of Information. Yuri Seliverstov was appointed Minister of Finance of Belarus. The Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee is Dmitry Pantus. The State Property Committee will be led by Dmitry Matusevich. Andrei Khmel was appointed head of the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services. 

The conversation with the renewed government was thorough today. The President voiced important aspects for the executive departments, the whole Belarusian society.
