Alexander Lukashenko has signed Decree No. 356 approving the draft agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the People's Republic of China on trade in services and investment as a basis for negotiations, BelTA reports.

Thus, the legal basis for sustainable and dynamic development of trade and investment relations between the two countries is fixed. It is about the creation of a free trade zone in services between Belarus and China, a transparent, liberal and favorable investment regime to attract investments.

The agreement sets the stage for the development of cooperation in new areas while respecting (protecting) the interests of both sides in the most sensitive segments of the economies.

The Ministry of Economy is authorized to negotiate and sign the agreement when an agreement is reached within the approved project.

It is expected that cooperation under the agreement will make it possible to dynamically increase exports of Belarusian services to China and increase investment flows from China.
