The Tripartite Contact Group for the settlement of the conflict in the east of Ukraine confirmed full commitment to compliance with Minsk agreements. This was stated by the OSCE Special Representative Martin Sajdik during today's meeting in Minsk. He also recalled that this summer has become the most peaceful since the beginning of the conflict. Thanks to an agreed truce in connection with the beginning of harvesting, as well as the beginning of the academic year, it was possible to significantly reduce the level of violations of the ceasefire regime.
However, Martin Sajdik expressed regret in connection with the death of the head of the self-proclaimed DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko. The next meeting of the Tripartite Contact Group is scheduled for September 19 in Minsk.
