The today's meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union's Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan is dedicated to finding a balance between the general and the specific. The agenda includes economic integration and discussion of global security issues. The events in Afghanistan and consequences of the pandemic, one way or another, affect the development of the union's partner countries, common trade, cooperation and logistic chains. The participants of the meeting are confident that negotiations of the Eurasian Five will give new impetus to integration.

The common economic space without barriers that we are aiming at stumbles on the state procurements today. The issue remains acute. It seems that an important step has been made - the EEU Register of Industrial Products has been created. Once you get there, you can immediately participate in tenders in the "five" countries. But not all manufacturers can be added to this list yet. It includes 30 of our enterprises and more than 3, 650 types of goods.

The bilateral relations can also be discussed at the summit. The premiers of the two countries talked about Belarusian-Russian cooperation. The dialogue continued behind closed doors for an hour. The whole range of topics of mutual interest was in view, because it is always important to hear the opinion of the partner.

Tomorrow the dialogue will continue. The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will gather in a broad composition, where the exemptions and restrictions within the "Five" will be analyzed in detail. And also they will coordinate their positions on the formation of common markets for gas, oil and oil products.
