For the first time the Belarusian capital became a ground for negotiations between 2 big associations. The Presidents of the Customs Union, Ukraine and representatives of European Union agreed that it is necessary to stop the escalation of Ukrainian conflict and prevent humanitarian catastrophe. The first results of the meeting were announced by Alexander Lukashenko.
Among the other important negotiations there were meetings between Presidents Putin and Poroshenko and talks between Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan.
The participants adopted common approaches on economy, energy, humanitarian mission to Donbas and interaction with the European Union.
August 26 became a start of new European policy. The journalists of Euronews and German press stated the fact that it was in Belarus, where peacekeeping process began. American and Ukrainian media hope on good results of negotiations.
