Belarus aims at further development of bilateral relations with Uzbekistan. Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko said this today during a meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan Nasirjan Yusupov on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission. The Prime Minister emphasized that good, friendly relations have developed between the countries.
Diplomatic relations between Minsk and Tashkent were established in 1993. Today, the legal framework for cooperation includes more than 70 agreements. Last year, the trade turnover between the countries amounted to about $280 million.
