President conducts detailed election campaign analysis

The President has conducted a detailed election campaign analysis with Head of the Presidential Administration Alexander Kosinets. The Central Election Commission received a total of 32 written appeals on 11 September, taking into view about seven million voters. For the first time in the history of elections, no complaints were submitted to the Presidential Administration during the main election day.

International observers highly assessed the way the election campaign was organised. Among the observers was the CIS mission comprised of over 300 experienced experts headed by CIS Executive Committee Secretary Sergei Lebedev. The CIS mission covered the whole territory of Belarus, each constituency and a vast majority of polling stations. Sergei Lebedev has discussed voting results with the President. According to the CIS mission, the elections were held in accordance with the Constitution and were transparent, open and free.
