Lesya Vysotskaya: CIS Member States have discussed cooperation in high technologies and agreements in the field of education, for example, reciprocal recognition of diplomas. Dozens of meetings were held during the event. The Belarusian delegation held negotiations with Colleagues from Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The Council of CIS Foreign Ministries coordinates the foreign political activity of the Member-States. This year the agenda included 11 issues, for instance, fighting cyber crimes and enhancement of border security. This year Belarus is the chair of the CIS. The motto of its program is integration for the benefit of people. Belarus gives a priority to fostering free trade and cooperation in energy, transport and agriculture. The CIS is making first steps towards creation of common educational space. In May the document will be signed by CIS governments. The CIS summit will take place in Minsk in October. CIS has already announced 2014 the Year of Tourism. The residents will be motivated by new tourist routes and better services.
