12 декабря 2017

As reported today at the meeting of the Central Election Commission, seven national observers have already been accredited.

The advisory council has been approved. It will monitor the work of the media. Head of the CEC Lydia Yermoshina notes that in the future it is necessary to move away from traditional performances on the radio. Every candidate has three minutes of free radio broadcast. Candidates will be able to appeal to voters between January 22 and February 12. Today, the formation of electoral funds of deputies was also discussed. In fact, they may include own investments and voters' donations. Each candidate must report on his spending on the campaign.

Also, candidates for deputies in local elections will be required to submit income statements for 2016.
