All participants of the international conference note that there is no substitute for the Minsk platform.

Vyacheslav Nikonov, Chairman of the Committee on Education and Science of the State Duma of Russia: “This is an important platform for dialogue with the Western elites. The uniqueness of it is neutrality and close relations with Russia at the same time. It is an opportunity to speak with Western partners not on the Russian or Western grounds, but on the ground, which can be considered neutral or close to Russia."

Brad Freden, Director of the Office of Eastern European Affairs, US Department: “We want to have normal relations with Belarus. I think all sides want this. There are many fields of common interests. I think it is very important to say that we are not asking Belarus to choose between East and West. Belarus can have normal relations with the USA and the same normal relations with all its neighbors."

Yevgeny Preigerman, Director of the Council for International Relations Minsk Dialogue: “Belarus proposed information neutrality concept and a cyber-safe belt in our region. This changes the specific conditions of the state’s policy, creates a positive incentive for other states."

The main goal of the Minsk Dialogue is to establish general stability, the guarantors of which may be uniform rules and norms of behavior in the international relations. The Minsk negotiations are a good start for further work of the world expert community.
