Minsk to host next session of Parliamentary Assembly of Belarus-Russia Union State

Russian parliamentarians have arrived in Minsk to take part in a two-day session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia. The delegation is headed by State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin.

Upon their arrival, the Russian MPs paid tribute to Great Patriotic War soldiers in Minsk’s Victory Square.

The 52nd session will consider legislation approximation and cooperation within the Union State, the efficiency of implementing joint programs being the main topic. The parties will also discuss the current cooperation plan and start working on a new document to be valid till 2022.

The Government House is currently hosting a meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly Council.
