As underlined the Foreign Ministry of our country, the EU decision to impose new sanctions against Belarus is erroneous and short-sighted.
Any unilateral sanctions are contrary to the UN Charter and, in fact, are illegal.
Anatoly Glaz, spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry: "Our response measures have already been prepared. Some of them are quite sensitive. Let some European opponents not be surprised and do not try to shift the blame. Everything is very clear.
We will also take adequate action to protect the rights and legitimate interests of our citizens and legal entities. Everyone will be assisted. After all, the decisions taken in a number of cases are not just absurd, but, I would say, simply discredit common sense. We expect that not only the Belarusian trade unions, but also the International Federation of Trade Unions and other specialized organizations will pay close attention to this.
