About 25 agreements and treaties, which were signed within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, are still not ratified.
Their implementation and overcoming trade barriers were discussed by the chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich and President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev today in Kazakhstan. Mikhail Myasnikovich headed the collegium of the Eurasian Economic Commission from February 1.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan: "The Union has come a long way in its development. We believe that the EAEU has justified its mission and will continue to develop with the understanding that all the states participating in this union will show the necessary will to do so."
Parties discussed the work of existing institutions within the Eurasian Union such as the Eurasian Development Bank and the EAEU Court. The possibility of creating new organizations that would facilitate the work of business and the residents in the countries of the Integrated Five was also talked over.
