MFA: Belarus' oil exports fell by more than $2 billion because of Russia.

25 февраля 2020
Belarusian exports have lost over $2 billion due to Russia's restrictions on the export of oil products and supplies of dirty oil. This was stated by our Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei at an enlarged meeting of the Foreign Ministry Board, which summed up the work of the diplomatic service in 2019.

Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus: "We have managed to maintain, and in some places significantly increased, the pace and volume of diplomatic work. There has been an increase in the intensity and geography of foreign visits at the highest levels. Bilateral cooperation with our foreign partners on all tracks was developing dynamically. Belarus continued to strengthen the positive trend towards normalization of relations on the Euro-Atlantic vector."

Significant progress, according to Makei, was achieved in the dialogue with the United States.
