Dmitry Mironchik, Press Secretary of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus: "Instead of constructive dialogue and seeking mutual advantage, our neighbors prefer to invent new measures to demonstrate their inflexibility and readiness for confrontation, in every possible way try to create a scandalous image for the construction industry."
The spokesman for the Foreign Ministry admits that in the near future a number of large western media will find the occasion to publish extensive materials on the Belarusian NPP with Lithuanian accent. The power station is under construction in Grodno Region in 50 miles from Vilnius. It will consist of two power units: the first is planned to be put into operation in 2019, the second one in 2020.
