Today, the International Summit on Sustainable Development opens in New York. The Belarusian initiatives will be announced by the national coordinator Marianna Shchetkina. Our country will become a participant of the forum for the first time, which will unite representatives of more than 70 countries. The main emphasis is on strengthening cooperation, including at the regional level.
Belarus stands for the creation of a broad partner network of national coordinators to give impetus in achieving the global development goals.
Marianna Schetkina will hold bilateral meetings with heads of delegations of foreign countries and international organizations.
