A personal quarrel led to the shooting at a Belarusian diplomat in Turkey, the incident has no political motive. This was announced today by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. In our opinion, there is no political motive behind this. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey immediately contacted me and informed about this incident, and promised that everything possible would be done to investigate and rescue the diplomat. This is probably due to some discontent of the assailant with the behavior of the children who played in the yard."
