A major revision of economic relations was carried out between Belarus and Azerbaijan. Experts and journalists are discussing the results of the Belarusian leader's visit to Baku. The talks turned out to be rather fruitful.

The friendship between the countries is old and strong, but there is room to grow in the financial sector. And most importantly, it is an absolutely mutually beneficial cooperation. The parties signed a number of documents and agreements.

A large delegation from Belarus flew to Baku with an important purpose: to give a new impetus to the relations, which have always been free from political, economic and other disputes. The leaders talked about this at Zagulba residence. А. Lukashenko declared that no pandemic can interfere with the cooperation between Belarus and Azerbaijan.

The economic leitmotif of several rounds of negotiations is a new stage of cooperation in the economy. The production of Belarusian electric buses may start in Azerbaijan. Our tractors will go there too under a contract for the delivery of almost 600 vehicles. The countries are interested in each other, and isn't that the key to good cooperation?

For almost 30 years, the region was torn by war in Nagorno-Karabakh. The real peace started only last November, when the parties to the conflict were able to find common ground. And now the South Caucasus is waiting for a long road to well-being. Following the meeting with his counterpart, Alexander Lukashenko sincerely congratulated the inhabitants of the region on the end of a generation-long hostility.

Peaceful time dictates its own rules and now Azerbaijan will take part in the EEU Intergovernmental Council in Kazan late April. Potentially, it may also lead to the accession of the country to the economic union.
