By Alexei Rodionov: Polling stations for voting in Belarus’ parliamentary elections are open across the country and abroad. The voting is taking place in the capital of Belgium - Brussels. All the polling stations set up outside the territory of Belarus are assigned to the 95th Kupalovsky constituency. The polling station in Brussels is one of the smallest ones in Europe, with over 50 people registered there. About 100 voters are expected to turn up at the Embassy today. 12 voters have taken part in early voting.

Apart from the Election Commission, the voting process is being monitored by Belarus’ Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg Alexander Mikhnevich

The voting will finish at 20:00 local time. The counting of votes will begin immediately after the polling station has been closed. After that, the results will be sent to the Foreign Ministry and then to the Central Election Commission.
