The main thing is not to hurt the Belarusian people
The economic policy under the sanctions as well as countermeasures are discussed today in the Palace of Independence. The restrictive measures of the collective West are nothing else but a tool of pressure on the sovereign state In fact, blackmail, which, including at the UN level, is considered unacceptable. However, when financial interests of the world centers of power are affected, the rules of the big political game are traditionally ignored. A formal informational reason was found in relation to Belarus: the landing of the plane. Without waiting for the results of the investigation, sanctions were immediately imposed. It is symbolic for our country that they were introduced exactly on June 22.
The objective is to seize assets, clear the field for their business and get a cheap labor force, which itself will come to Europe. The scheme of "democratization" of the country has been fine-tuned on the Ukrainian training ground. But Belarus is still learning from others' mistakes. There are enough people willing to work in Europe, in particular, from the countries where democracy and a bright future have already arrived. The problem of migrants has been recently discussed in the context of Belarus. Today, the President once again reminded - our country has dealt and will continue to deal with the main challenges at the border. But it will do so in a way that is beneficial to it. It's a paradox, but the first to suffer after the imposition of sanctions were their initiators. It turned out that the Belarusian transit accounted for a third of Klaipeda port loading, a quarter of the freight flow of the Lithuanian railroad was also provided by our country. Many other spheres also suffered. In general, sanctions did not make anyone better off. The task is to work steadily, despite the circumstances. Belarus is still ready for a dialogue at the negotiating table. The Prime Minister expressed hope that common sense would prevail in the West and the pressure would stop. Now the main task for all industries is a stable work and fulfillment of all forecasts. The head of state also instructed the government and the National Bank to take a closer look at Western companies, currently operating in our country. All opportunities are open to responsible and honest businesses. The sector itself deserves special attention today.
