Minsk Dialogue Forum contributes to regional peace and stability

The current concept of the strategic stability is considered outdated. A mutually respectful dialogue is the only way to establish cooperation, which is required from the international comunity. More than half thousand experts from the EU, USA, China, the representatives of OSCE, CSTO and NATO take part in the forum.

Bred Freden, Director of the Office of Eastern European Affairs of US Department: "Belarus is making its contribution to the world security. The Minsk Dialogue Forum is acknowledged to be a new international platform for the issues discussions., such as European security. The assembly of so many people is a valuable contribution to the regional peace and stability."

Jacob Wellenstein, Country Director for Belarus of Konrad Adenauer Stiftung: “Belarus is a very good forum coordinator. The country has good and strong contacts with the Russian Federation, but it is also open to the new prospects, that go in contrast with the Russian views."

The Forum is about not only military but also economic security.

The participants of the Minsk Dialogue Forum discuss strategic stability and arms control issues, Donbass and Transnistria after the elections in Ukraine and Moldova, 10 years of the Eastern Partnership and the development of the Eurasian Economic Union.
