EU ready to sign visa agreement with Belarus

The Council of the European Union approved the decision to sign a visa agreement with Belarus. The text of the resolution is published on the website of the official EU journal. After the agreement enters into force the visa fee for the Belarusians will automatically be reduced to 35 euros. Many categories of citizens may be completely exempted from paying the fee, depending on the purpose of the trip, they will receive multiple visas with a longer duration in a simplified manner. The appointment of a person, authorized to sign the contract, is expected. The document will enter into force in 2 months after the acceptance by both parties.
