The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Vladimir Makeitook part in a general discussion of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York. The head of the foreign policy department gave a a high priority to the development of globalization, which would take into account the interests of everybody. In this connection, Minsk advocates the need to build a fair, predictable and non-discriminatory trade and economic architecture in the world.
The diplomat has paid attention to digital technologies, which represent the newest potential for achieving the goals of sustainable development, the need for joint counteraction to the global threat of terrorism, as well as to the initiative of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on the need to launch a new large-scale international security dialogue.
