Elections to the local councils of deputies in Belarus will be held in 2 months. Over 4,000 applications of initiative groups have already been submitted for registration in Mogilev Region. Over half of them are in rural areas. The most active were representatives of the Communist and United Civil parties.

Signatures were collected during rallies in the streets. Initiative groups can also collect signatures when visiting voters personally. They will then be required to show their ID and passport.
