This was stated by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the country - Vladimir Makey at the meeting with the Director of the Department of continental Europe of the Ministry of Foreign Affaires of France Eric Fournier. The talks were also attended by French Ambassador to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Vladimir Makey familiarized the participants with foreign political and economic priorities of our country at the present stage, elaborated on the relations between Belarus and the European Union, cooperation within the CIS and the Eurasian Economic Union. Eric Fournier for his part said that Belarus was not accidentally chosen to host the regional meeting of ambassadors of France, as it is located in the heart of Europe and plays an important role in EAEC.
