Belarusian initiatives on the development of the digital economy were included in the Berlin Declaration at the 27th session of the OSCE PA. Our project was unanimously supported today. The final document will be adopted tomorrow at the final meeting. The project will promote economic growth in the OSCE area. Belarus proposed to pay special attention to the transition and adaptation of society to the digital economy, harmonization of standards, overcoming barriers, digitalization of international trade. Belarusian parliamentarians have repeatedly noted the need to establish cooperation between East and West.
The OSCE Parliamentary Assembly unites 57 states of Europe, Asia and North America. Belarus is an active participant in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. The current representative forum is held in Berlin. Last year, Minsk hosted the summer session of the Assembly.
