Belarus supports the early development of a declaration on the non-placing of intermediate-range and shorter-range missiles in Europe. This was stated by Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei in New York today, speaking at the general discussion of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly. Minsk sees the key element of the document as a firm commitment of the countries not to deploy missiles in their territory and refusal to produce them. In addition, Minsk urged the UN countries to take measures to ensure international information security - it is necessary to expand interstate digital cooperation. It can become the basis for developing international rules for responsible behavior in virtual space.
