This was announced today by the Chairman of the Council of the Republic Mikhail Myasnikovich. A meeting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Central European Initiative opened in Minsk today. The forum involves a record number of speakers, almost 40 delegates from 12 countries. The main theme is digital technologies in the face of geopolitical security.
Eric Chernovits, Deputy Secretary General of the Central European Initiative:
"The mission of the CEI is to help non-EU states on their way to the EU. Other goal is to become a bridge between the macroregions that are part of our organization."
Let us note that for the first time Belarus presides at CEI this year under the slogan "promotion of compatibility in Greater Europe".
