Belarus calls European Union to abolish remaining restrictive measures

This was stated today by the foreign Minister Vladimir Makei at a meeting with the EU ambassadors for the Eastern partnership. The Minister stressed that the positive cooperation in recent years has brought much more positive results than the previous two decades of sanctions. The Foreign Minister of Belarus also welcomed the EU's intention to expand relations with Minsk, putting them on a structured basis. Vladimir Makei will visit Brussels in late May on a working visit.
