Belarus can become platform for development of joint projects with Japan

Today, First Deputy Prime Minister Vasily Matyushevsky met with Japanese Ambassador to Belarus and Russia Toyohisa Kozuki.

The parties emphasize the need to realize the potential of cooperation in the economy. Belarus is interested in developing long-term relationships with Japanese corporations. We are ready to provide a range of economic benefits for potential investors. The promising areas have been outlined: it is the production of laser equipment, research equipment, radiation detecting equipment.

Belarus is also ready to cooperate in the field of agriculture, education, science and information technology. Japan is interested in entering the 180-million market of the EAEU.
