29 ноября 2017

A quarter of a century of friendship and cooperation. For 25 years of diplomatic relations the states have passed the way to strategic partnership. Based on mutual trust and openness, relations are now backed up by numerous economic projects.. This proposal was voiced today by our President during the talks with Nursultan Nazarbayev. The heads of state today signed a program document, an agreement on social and economic cooperation until 2026. However, Belarus already today successfully shares its experience with Kazakhstani partners in various fields: from the agro-sector and industry, to high technologies and medicine. Belarusian doctors even train Eurasian colleagues, and conduct complex operations in Kazakhstan ..

But the main engine of general trade is the production of the Belarusian vehicle industry. In Kazakhstan there are 8 joint assembly plants, which collect tractors, trucks, agricultural machinery.

Alexander Lukashenko says that it's time to invest more actively in production and work on world sites, creating our own transnational corporations in various fields from education to logistics.

It is Belarusian developments that can become part of the international financial center. The day before, they signed a memorandum with the Kazakh side on cooperation in the field of new and high technologies.

In general, it was felt that Belarus and Kazakhstan are increasingly focusing on innovation and high technologies. This is the main focus of the current negotiations and a new stage for the countries. Digital transit corridors - this is the kind of transformation that awaits all modes of transport. Due to this, it is possible to increase the efficiency of the transport arteries of the whole Union. Digital logistics can become a locomotive for the economies of the EEA countries, linking not only the producer and consumer, but also all spheres of the economy. And on the whole, the economic effect from the introduction of a single digital agenda can give a 10-percent increase in the GDP of the entire EAEU.

The scientific and educational consortium unites more than 40 participants. In general, more than 500 Kazakhstani citizens study in Belarus. This humanitarian aspect sometimes means no less than politics and economics. Education, training sometimes brings not less benefits. Belarusian transplantology is ready to share the experience. In this field of medicine, our country enters the world level. By the number of transplantations, Belarus takes the leading position among the CIS countries.

But the most important thing is the Agreement on social and economic cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan. The program document is calculated till 2026.
