Askar Beisenbayev appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus

Askar Beisenbaev was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus and part-time permanent representative to the CIS statutory bodies. The corresponding decree was signed by Kazakhstan leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Prior to his appointment to this position, Askar Beisenbayev was a deputy of the Senate of the Parliament, led the committee on economic policy, innovative development and entrepreneurship. As ambassador, he will replace Yermukhamet Yertysbayev, who was ambassador to Minsk for two years.
