Alexander Lukashenko appoints new government

The government has been updated in Belarus. Before signing the relevant decree, the Head of State held a meeting. Once again,  all options were discussed, the current cabinet and possible candidates were analyzed. In general, the decision was not spontaneous. The Belarusian government will be headed by Roman Golovchenko. The President has appointed him Prime Minister. His first deputy is now Nikolai Snopkov. The President also appointed Alexander Subbotin as Deputy Prime Minister.  The State Control Committee will be headed by Ivan Tertel. There are also changes in the ministerial corps. Ruslan Parkhamovich will lead the Ministry of Architecture and Construction. Petr Parkhomchik is the Minister of Industry, and Igor Lutsky is the Minister of Information. Yuri Seliverstov was appointed Minister of Finance of Belarus. The State Property Committee will be headed by Dmitry Matusevich. The rotation also affected the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services - Andrei Khmel was appointed head of the department.
