А. Lukashenko: The interests of all EAEU states should be taken into account while creating common energy market

The Eurasian integration strategy and common approaches to energy resources are discussed at the Eurasian Economic Community online summit. The leaders, small and large participants, exchanged their opinions on shaping a common gas market. The agenda included the gas transportation issue, as well as the issues of black gold.  By 2024, an international treaty is expected, which will also build common rules for trade in oil and petroleum products.

They also touched upon the issue of further development of transit potential of the association, import substitution and digitalization. In the context of constant attacks of Western countries, one should be able to protect their market. The leaders' proposals also include strengthening work on the creation of joint industrial clusters and enterprises. Another important direction: trade in national currencies, which will strengthen the financial markets of Eurasian integration.
