CSTO reacts to the situation in Afghanistan
Belarus is watching the developments in Afghanistan with caution and attentiveness. According to Alexander Lukashenko, the situation should be assessed without emotion, as realistically and adequately as possible. Also, the President does not exclude the deployment of the American army in the countries neighboring Afghanistan. This topic deserves careful study from a security point of view. The position of Belarus is shared by the Russian side, which also considers the deployment of US troops in the CSTO area of responsibility unacceptable.
