This was said today in Minsk by leading physicians, Belarusian and European lawyers. So, the experts discussed the question of the presumed consent to organ donation after death. This rule is now prevalent in many European countries.
This year Belarusian doctors conducted 450 organ transplants: 325 kidney transplants, 80 liver transplants, more than 40 heart transplants, 4 lung transplants. Combined transplants were carried out as well.
