33 new domestic drugs introduced to market over past 3.5 years

First of all, these are the drugs for treatment of cardiovascular and nervous systems, as well as antitumor and antiviral drugs. Now the main task for Belarusian pharmacists is to increase the share of domestic drugs in the market. This is one of the objectives of the pharmaceutical industry development program.  Such information was reported at the international scientific-practical conference at the Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry. By the way, today is the second day of the forum. It is attended by scientists and specialists from Belarus and Russia. Today, 38 pharmaceutical companies operate in Belarus. Last year alone, they produced products for $608 million worth of and exported medicines for nearly $120 million.
